“Fresh Off Her First Grammy Win, Doechii Drops Triumphant Track ‘Nosebleeds'”

Doechii Celebrates Grammy Win With Fiery New Track ‘Nosebleeds’

The Swamp Princess is making sure her victory lap is nothing short of iconic. Fresh off her first-ever Grammy win, Doechii wasted no time in giving fans something to celebrate with her. In the early hours of Monday (Feb. 3), she dropped her latest track, “Nosebleeds,” marking a triumphant moment in her career.

A Night of Wins and New Beginnings

On Sunday (Feb. 2), Doechii clinched the prestigious Best Rap Album award at the Grammys for Alligator Bites Never Heal, a project that cemented her place among hip-hop’s elite. But instead of simply basking in the glory, she doubled down, releasing “Nosebleeds” at midnight—a high-energy anthem that pays homage to her journey and the people who supported her along the way.

Clocking in at just over two minutes, “Nosebleeds” sees Doechii delivering razor-sharp bars, giving shoutouts to her Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) family and the Recording Academy. One of the standout moments in the track comes as she playfully references Kanye West’s legendary 2005 Grammy speech:

“I don’t know, is she gonna go crazy? Is she gonna go crazy? / Everybody wanted to know what Doechii would do if she didn’t win / I guess we’ll never—”

The song also nods to TDE heavyweights like SZA, Isaiah Rashad, and the label’s president, Anthony “Moosa” Tiffith Jr., further solidifying her deep ties with the powerhouse collective.

Doechii’s Grammy Moment

During the star-studded Grammy night, Doechii was nominated for three major categories: Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Album. While she faced tough competition and lost the first two categories to Chappell Roan and Kendrick Lamar respectively, it was her win for Best Rap Album that became the crowning jewel of the evening.

Taking the stage with pure emotion, Doechii gave a heartfelt acceptance speech, reflecting on the challenges that shaped her artistry.

“I put my heart and my soul into this mixtape. I’ve bared my life. I went through so much. I dedicated myself to sobriety, and God told me that I would be rewarded and that he would show me just how good it can get,” she said, her voice filled with gratitude.

She then turned her focus outward, using the moment to empower Black women everywhere.

“I know that there is some Black girl out there, so many Black women out there that are watching me right now, and I want to tell you: You can do it. Anything is possible. Anything is possible.”

What’s Next for Doechii?

While Alligator Bites Never Heal was billed as a mixtape, its success has only heightened anticipation for Doechii’s official studio debut album, set to arrive later in 2025. With standout tracks like “BOILED PEANUTS,” “DENIAL IS A RIVER,” and the hard-hitting “GTFO,” the project already feels like a major moment in her career. And if “Nosebleeds” is any indication, she’s only getting started.

As fans continue to stream her latest release, one thing is clear: Doechii isn’t just celebrating a win—she’s making sure the world knows she’s here to stay.
