A$AP Rocky is kicking off a new chapter in his career, stepping into the world of fashion and design as Ray-Ban’s first-ever creative director. This announcement comes just days after the rapper was acquitted of all charges in his highly publicized felony assault trial.

A Visionary Partnership

On February 21, Ray-Ban confirmed the collaboration through an official press release, introducing Rocky as a key figure in shaping the brand’s future. His first major project? A bold reimagining of Ray-Ban’s signature frames, launching as the “Blacked Out” collection in April. Featuring gold-plated accents and deep black lenses, the line reflects Rocky’s signature style—classic with a modern edge.

Ray-Ban president Leonardo Maria Del Vecchio expressed excitement over the partnership, calling Rocky a “visionary artist and creator” whose innovative approach aligns with the brand’s DNA. The rapper himself shared his admiration for Ray-Ban’s legacy, stating:

“I’ve always admired Ray-Ban’s ability to stay true to its roots while constantly evolving. I’m excited to be part of the strong heritage and develop the next chapter for an iconic brand like Ray-Ban.”

Notably, Rocky was seen sporting Ray-Ban sunglasses throughout his court appearances—an early hint at the partnership before it was officially unveiled.

Beyond Fashion: Expanding His Empire

The Ray-Ban deal is just one of many power moves Rocky has made in recent days. He also became an investor in UK football club Tranmere Rovers, joining forces with his attorney Joe Tacopina’s investment group.

On the music front, fans are eagerly awaiting Don’t Be Dumb, his long-anticipated album. A newly surfaced snippet of a track, shared on February 20, showcases Rocky’s energetic delivery and sharp lyricism, sparking speculation that the project’s release is imminent.

With his legal troubles behind him, A$AP Rocky is making it clear—he’s focused on business, creativity, and solidifying his legacy across multiple industries.
