The Weeknd Drops Hurry Up Tomorrow Album with Travis Scott, Future & More

Here’s a fresh take on the article:

The Weeknd Unleashes Hurry Up Tomorrow with Star-Studded Collaborations & Upcoming Film

A Monumental Album Before His Stadium Tour Kickoff

The Weeknd is back with a game-changing release! His highly anticipated sixth studio album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, dropped on January 31 at midnight, marking what could be his final project under his legendary moniker.

The 22-track album delivers a mix of nostalgia, innovation, and introspection. Opening with “Wake Me Up,” The Weeknd sets a reflective tone: “All I have is my legacy/ I been losing my memory/ No afterlife, no other side.” From there, the energy builds with the Metro Boomin-produced “Cry For Me” before hitting a raw, self-aware moment in “I Can’t F**king Sing,” referencing his 2022 voice-loss incident at SoFi Stadium.

A-List Features & Exclusive Tracks

The album boasts an impressive lineup of guest appearances. Pre-release singles “Timeless” (featuring Playboi Carti) and “São Paulo” (with Anitta) teased the sonic journey ahead, while fresh collaborations emerged, including “Reflections Laughing” with Travis Scott and “Enjoy The Show” featuring Future.

The Weeknd also teamed up with Lana Del Rey, Florence + the Machine, and Giorgio Moroder, blending diverse influences into the album’s signature sound. Fans who grabbed the exclusive 00XO edition got two bonus tracks: “Runaway” and “Society.”

Stadium Tour & Big Screen Debut

As if the album wasn’t enough, The Weeknd is gearing up for his After Hours Til Dawn 2025 Stadium Tour, kicking off in Phoenix this May. The tour, featuring Playboi Carti, will hit major cities like Detroit, Chicago, L.A., Toronto, and Miami before wrapping up in San Antonio on September 3. Presale begins on February 5, with general tickets dropping February 7.

Adding to the excitement, Hurry Up Tomorrow isn’t just an album—it’s also a psychological thriller set for a global theatrical release in May. Starring Jenna Ortega, Barry Keoghan, and The Weeknd himself, the film was directed by Trey Edward Shults. The singer-turned-actor played a hands-on role in shaping the story. “I need you to see yourself in this film, that’s really the only way it’s gonna work,” he recalled telling Shults.

With a powerhouse album, a massive tour, and a movie on the way, 2025 is shaping up to be The Weeknd’s biggest year yet. Are we witnessing the final chapter of his iconic era? Only time will tell.
