Rich Homie Quan’s Estate Releases Emotional Posthumous Single “Song Cry”

Rich Homie Quan’s legacy continues to live on through his music. On September 17, the late rapper’s estate released his first posthumous single, “Song Cry,” coinciding with his celebration of life ceremony in College Park, Georgia.

The emotional track captures Quan’s reflections on loss, betrayal, and resilience, featuring heartfelt lyrics like, “You ain’t never seen your homie died and look him in the face.” Fans were quick to express their love and admiration, honoring the rapper’s impact on the industry.

While it remains unclear if “Song Cry” is part of a larger project, Quan’s father, Corey Lamar, confirmed that the rapper left behind an extensive catalog of unreleased music. “He has probably over 2,000 unreleased songs… the fans need to hear them,” Lamar shared.

Quan tragically passed away on September 5 from an alleged overdose. His girlfriend, Amber Williams, found him unresponsive at their Atlanta home, and he was later pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital. Despite his untimely passing, Rich Homie Quan’s influence and music continue to resonate with listeners worldwide.
